Little Dolls by olivetreeann

Little Dolls

I received these little dolls many years ago as a gift from my mother. They came from a gift shop which featured hand-crafts and art from around the world. These are called "Worry Dolls" and they came from Guatemala. The story goes that at night children can take a doll out of the box and give them one of their worries. The doll will then work on fixing whatever problem it is so that by morning it is gone. You can only give one problem to a doll and you can't use the doll more than once, so you must choose wisely when it comes to deciding what's worth worrying about!

No need to comment on all of my uploads today! I've been awol due to an extremely busy schedule and overall (but not serious so don't worry) holiday slump which has left me tired and under-motivated to keep up with 365! But I missed you all, so I determined in my mind that it was time to get back on track!
Oh i have the same little dolls in the same little box. I like the story about choosing what's worth worrying about. Very useful advice
