I've had this little kitty since my childhood days. I'm not sure where I got her from and I am not really a cat person. But I used to pretend she was the dollhouse pet and she is usually found in my curio cabinet along with a lot of other small things that used to be in my doll house too.
No need to comment on all of my uploads today! I've been awol due to an extremely busy schedule and overall (but not serious so don't worry) holiday slump which has left me tired and under-motivated to keep up with 365! But I missed you all, so I determined in my mind that it was time to get back on track!
Sorry to hear you've been feeling low. It is hard to keep up with 'real' life when you feel like that never mind 365! No rush to catch up quickly, take your time and hope you feel more motivated soon.
Sweet little kitty, and great processing. We may be in similar places--I've been so busy with family that I go a week or more and take no pictures. Then I take a hundred and don't get around to processing them. . . . Glad you are back on track. I've decided I need to come back, too. Looking at other people's photos inspires me, lifts my spirits and makes me smile.
@aglennc Thanks Anita! I have resurrected them so to speak as props for 365!
@francoise Thank you Francoise- a few more than a little, but still just as loved! @allie912 Thank you Allison- I think you're right as I see my granddaughter Leigh respond like that to miniature things. @skstein Thank you Sandy! @bruni Thank you Bruni! @cruiser Thank you Chris! Yes, I know that feeling! @grammyn Thank you Katie! It's a pretty little plate I inherited from my Dad- but who knows where he got it from as I don't remember it growing up! @dibzgreasley Thank you Debs for those warm thoughts. It happens every December- a combo of loving Christmas and the birth of Christ, being married to someone who is, shall we say in the nicest way, a Scrooge (bah-hum-bug!), and missing my parents as it was a special time for our family. This year since I've been so busy with photo club, helping my friend Judy with her home, dealing with increasingly achy joints, and stuff like that on top of developing my website and producing some products to sell- I truly just got tired and had no energy! So, the best solution was to ease off 365 for a while and get to bed earlier. It helped some. Now I'm just pacing myself. I will definitely pace myself catching up. I'd love to do it all, but humanly speaking, I know I don't have to!
@neatz Thank you Anita! @eudora Thank you Diane! I do understand that- see my comment to Debs for the full explanation! It's more an emotional thing for me than schedule- but when I don't get enough down-time or sleep, then a lot of things just become overwhelming. I'm glad you're back too!
@alia_801 Thank you Alia and thank you so much for the fav! @rfilip Thank you Filip! I'm happy to be back too! @cjphoto Thank you Chris! I haven't grown out of some of them- mostly for nostalgic reasons. There are still quite a few in my house!
