Moon Foolery by olivetreeann

Moon Foolery

There is a saying we have here in the States- tom-foolery- and we use it to describe foolish behavior and nonsense. The poor moon! It was looking so pretty tonight, but what I did to it in post-processing was nonsensical!
I think it's awesome. I love the textures and clarity!

Super creation Ann! FAV!

@taffy LOL Taffy- thank you so much!
@grammyn Thank you Katy! You can do this- well, the moon shot you can! Set your camera to AV, ISO 200, AWB at Daylight. Brace your camera on something sturdy or use a tripod. That's it- your camera is the model before mine, so it should work!
@skipt07 Thank you Skip and thank you so much for the fav!

@olivetreeann I used to get decent shots but yours are so much better than mine! http://365project.org/grammyn/365/2012-05-01 They are so crisp!
January 19th, 2016
@grammyn Sometimes I do some extra sharpening- even though they are pretty sharp sooc. I left you a comment on your moon shot- which by the way is very good!

fantastic shot and I love the starburst. Thanks for telling how to (hopefully) achieve this. I tried to get the moon last night but it was a dismal failure so I shall try your "receipe" tonight. fav
January 19th, 2016
Wow! Gorgeous shot of the moon. Great editing.
January 19th, 2016
Well the lit moon is nice and clean and sharp. I could definitely do without the rest.
January 19th, 2016
I love your moon shots and editing. My only question here is this makes the dark side of the moon either like glass or absent. I think there should be a dark space you can't see through
January 19th, 2016
I haven't seen the moon for some nights! This is amazing! and you are so clever! fav

You are kidding right? First, this is so much more cleaver than my moon photo, second I love the creativity of this. It looks like the moon is being pushed by the stars and the details are, excuse the pun, "out of this world"!! Instant FAV!!
