A Snowy Day

The snow arrived in full force! Final count at least 12 inches. I'll get the measuring stick out tomorrow to be sure.

WOW!! That's a lot of snow! You can keep it!!! I wouldn't mind if it were gone the next day!! We just got the cold, cold, cold, which I hate even worse!!! It was in the teens with the wind chill and supposed to be colder tongiht, but then back up in the 50's and 60's starting Monday!! Woot woot!!

@skstein Wow Sandy! We had heard that we would be at the edge of the storm and originally they predicted only 5". But we got a foot. And quite frankly, I'm glad the 36" fell by you and not by me! hehe

@nicolecampbell Thank you Nicole! Are there areas in Australia where there is a higher elevation for snow? I guess I'm used to seeing the warmer parts- but then I'm learning so much geography here!

@olivetreeann we live about two hours away from the snowy mountains, it was meant to snow here last winter, but it didn't. We did take the girls for the day and they had a snowball fight, it was fun. I really want to get that snowflake shot but it won't happen here, we will have to come and visit you to get that photo x

@nicolecampbell I would be thrilled if you came to visit! Believe it or not the Poconos used to be a very sought after vacation spot! It still is known for vacations- but certainly doesn't rank up there with your trip to Paris!

Thank you Brian and Phoebe! It was pretty then and a lot of it has melted now. I would not mind at all if we didn't have any more snow after this, but I'm pretty sure we will.
