Leigh chose bowls. I liked that one! First up the mixing bowls my mother gave me as an engagement present. I still use them too!

@dibzgreasley Thanks Debs- yes Pyrex and one daughter in law has already said she loves them and when I'm done using them could she have them! Strange thing to inherit from your mother in law but that's what she wants, so that's what she'll get (plus a few more valuable things as well!)

@grammyn Thanks Katy! I actually had two sets- this one and the other was the colored kind- earth tones and sadly on that set I did break the largest bowl. I couldn't believe I broke it- they had such a reputation for being indestructible.

They have lasted very well. My favourite mixing bowl has lots of chips in it, in fact I bought it with a chip in it.
