Stairway to Photography Heaven

I was invited to go to one of the big camera shows in NYC this week. Not only is the PDN Expo a great place to shop for deals if you're in the market for something, it also is a good place to see and hear prominent photographers talk about their current projects and the techniques that have made them world-class photographers. I thought the way this staircase was decorated was really cool and it was fun to take the shot of the Olympus advertising, with, you guessed it, an Olympus! (Mind you it was not as elaborate as the one advertised here).

Thank you everyone! Yes, it was exciting. No, I didn't buy anything (no spending money after investing in an ND filter for the long-exposure workshop at the beginning of October) but I did come away with something to save up for! haha I heard three photographers speak- Stephen Johnson, David Allen Harvey and Ben Claremont. I really enjoyed each one of them- all very different, all inspirational. And if I ever win an artist's challenge in the future, you'll be sure to be introduced to one of them!

@summerfield Ohhhh, I wish I'd known! Well, a trip to Batavia is upcoming but with no specific date yet. You will be the first to know.
