The Answer 4

Most of the guesses for this puzzle were in the right room- the kitchen- but not many of you recognized it was a spatula.
Nope. I didn’t even have an idea so didn’t try to guess. I love the tin you have holding them. My grandma’s cookie jar was a tin like that.

Wrong again. but... I`ve a good excuse, the kitchen is my wifes territory.

I, too, love that tin they're in. Had to go back and look at your earlier posting (I'm so far behind!) I can see it easily now, but don't think I would have before this shot.

Got to this one a bit too late, but I wouldn't have picked it anyway. What a great what is it.

Never having seen a spatula like that made it impossible for me to gusee that. I like how this one came together

I like the processing in this, like an illustration.

Thanks for showing the item... it all makes sense now.

I will have to go back and check it out

Very tricky Ann!

Having looked back to yesterday I understand now. Looks just like my tub of kitchen utensils.I really like your tin in the background - possibly a biscuit or shortbread baking tin?
December 8th, 2018
It was the red spoons on the side that really disguised it so well as they looked part of it.
December 8th, 2018
I was in the right room at least
December 8th, 2018
Ah well I was close. I never saw a spatula with round holes before.
December 8th, 2018
I think it was the lighting behind the spatula. I like the full picture tok. I love your utensil holder.
December 8th, 2018
I love the old tin you’re using to hold them.

Thank you to one and all and my apologies for a mass thank you without a return visit today. I'm a bit achy as the temps have dropped today. It always seems to take me about 24 hours to adjust to such a change.

For those of you who commented on the tin- it is part of a set for flour, sugar, etc. that I rescued from the basement of my grandmother's home ages and ages ago. It's the middle size of 3. I guess she used them at some point but it looks as if she might have. I was attracted to the retro look of them and this one has held the spatulas etc. for as long as I can remember having them.

Nope, I wouldn't have guess it.

@randystreat Thanks Kathy- I've been trying to make them not too tricky but I'm realizing that if there is no context as to what something is, it's still tricky to figure out what it is!

I missed yesterday's shot and I can say it was very difficult to guess. Lovely shot of all these kitchen tools.

@sangwann Thank you Dione!
December 9th, 2018
love this old tin in this shot
December 9th, 2018
I was so sure it was the game. oh well. I can now see it though.
December 9th, 2018
Very cool. I love the colors.

@lynnz @bruni @mittens

Thank you Lynn, Bruni and Marilyn!

@bruni I don't know how well I'd do if I didn't know what they already were. It's interesting to me how our brain makes connections as we try to make sense out of a picture.
