I have an assorted collection of pictures to convert to abstracts this week. So here's the first one taken on my photo walk yesterday at Grey Towers. The beginning shot was dappled sunlight in a small pool. Butterfly wings, a cloudy sky and water color paint textures were added to bring about this look.
@onewing Thank you for that wonderful comment Babs! I was never much of a painter- just didn't have the knack with a brush. But I wonder what direction I would have taken had digital photography and post-processing existed when I was in high school and college. At least now the frustrated artist in me has found an avenue of expression!
@shutterbug49 I try not to dwell on the would have, could have, should haves- but that's one thought that keeps coming back to me- would I have become a graphic artist had these innovations been around when I was choosing a career?
Thank you all for your views, comments and favs!

Thank you Wendy, Diane, and Haskar!
