It's Friday the 13th so I decided you needed a little mystery in today's rainbow shot. I've spent most of my day checking in with local authorities and folks in the know in order to decide whether or not to cancel our monthly photo club meeting. In light of all the recent events our executive committee decided to cancel. It's better to be cautious and prevent any chance of a problem than to go ahead with the event. But that decision making process really wears you out! I needed some time to play on the computer after all that talking! So here's a Blue Moon (thanks to shooting it in Tungsten lighting) and some blue stars to add a little intrigue to your day.
This is a beautiful image.
I cancelled our fiber guild meeting Sunday. It's a small group and probably would have been ok, but it's held in our church and the church cancelled services and activities until after next weekend. I ended up cancelling the meeting.
I love your idea of doing a Friday the 13th photo. I partly know what you were going through. I am on the steering committee for our Photo Club with two others so that spreads the load. Yesterday as we were planning we got word that all the big events were cancelled, but we aren’t that big, then we got word that all events indoors were cancelled, so we quickly decided it would be an opportunity to plan a couple of photo walks, then that too was cancelled. By the time I got home from that meeting I was so tired and we had cancelled all plans.
Gorgeous image.... As president of our camera club, I made the decision to cancel our meeting on the 27th. Too much fear and too much uncertainty. I am being proactive in our decision not reactive.
Better to err on the side of caution.
Thank you my friends! I not only appreciate all those views, comments and favs but the encouraging words as well! They really mean a lot to me- and help me not to second guess my decision!
