My hands were really too shaky to take shots with my cell phone but I tried anyway. I didn't get any pictures of my ICU room but that didn't matter. Since my case was so bad the staff was pretty excited when I was moved up to a regular room. Several of the nurses came in to visit over the next few days just to see how I was doing. No one with a case like mine had successfully come off the ventilator and survived before. But for me, moving to the "regular room" was the first step toward home.
Just to clarify- this was taken while I was in the hospital but I am home now! There is definitely some post-processing added to this shot. The hospital was absolutely spotless- no dinge or grunge at all.
yes, healing quite well. pretty soon you'll be back to the annfoolery stuff. great going, ann. continue with your healing. so glad you're home. get stronger.
Thank you so much everyone. Just to be clear I'm home- I came home last Saturday much to the surprise of everyone- even myself. I am taking it very slow, but I love hearing the sound of my breathing, am enjoying the comfort of my own bed and recliner and am taking delight in the sunny days which have light filling my living room where I do most of my 365 stuff now.
This photo epitomizes your spirit and your art--that you took a photo as soon as you were able and edited it artistically. So glad you are home and getting better!
I’m getting vaccinated today :)
