I am soooooooo proud of my son, the head coach of the men's soccer program at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg KY! Today they upset the #1 team in their "bracket" (sort of like a regional area) and took home the #1 spot. The next stop will be the NAIA National tournament in Georgia. The scoreboard on the bottom is the score from the game they played on Thursday which earned them the opportunity to play today's game (Christopher's team was listed as the home team "Tech"). The top 3 shots are from today's game: a small celebration after the second goal which sealed the win, my daughter-in-law and 2 grandsons watching the game, and congratulatory handshakes at the end of the 2-0 win.
None of these pictures are very good but being able to be home and actually watch these two games was just such a joy I had to share them with you! I hope you all had a great Saturday too!
