A Crismon with Wings

The ladies of the Stine Sunday School class have been decorating our sanctuary's Christmas tree with these Crismons for a LONG time!

Crismons are specialized Christmas ornaments that depict symbols associated with Jesus and the Christian faith.

The butterfly is both a symbol of the resurrection and the Risen Christ. Both "die" or appear to be dead, but miraculously both return to life.
