@grammyn It's a tube of long matches for lighting the fireplace. My sister gave them to me for Christmas one year-hence the candy cane stripes. The original shot was taken from overhead (sort of!) but once I started editing, I turned it upside-down.

@randystreat I think it looks like a sailboat too.
