@kvphoto You're right- the construction folks had to come back and do a little tweaking- but it was because we had a power outage and some silt got into the flushing mechanism. To me, it was an unnecessary expense since the old ones worked just fine, but others who are more interested in new-fangled things did not agree and so the project moved on.
@grammyn This would have made more sense to me if the old ones no longer worked but the church administrator loves anything new-tech so he pushed the remodeling through.

@kjarn I can see the benefits of it in terms of public safety and health, but this was quite an excessively expensive project and truthfully we don't have massive amounts of people coming to use the water closet! But nonetheless it does avoid the transferring of a lot of germs when you don't have to touch all the handles and knobs.
