Receive

When you move into a neighborhood you never really know what the neighbors will be like until you get to know them. The process starts all over again, should someone sell their house and move away. We are blessed in that everyone who has come and gone in our little neighborhood has been a good neighbor. Michele brought over some Christmas treats for Jeff and I today, making it my turn to receive: pumpkin sour cream muffins, homemade fudge and home made caramels. Tomorrow it will be my turn to give- I'm having tea with Cloe and bringing her the gifts I bought.
Great way to capture the challenge today Ann. I like your words and I am sure Cloe will love her gifts that you give her tomorrow (grab a photo for the challenge).

@digitalrn Thanks Rick!
@httpgeffed Thanks Colleen!
@allie912 Thanks Allison!

I am happy to report that the muffins are delicious! I had one for breakfast this morning with a cup of hot chocolate (o:

@allie912 I wanted to shoot the goodies in a nice natural light, so I pulled out this plate and set them on the coffee table in my living room because it was the best place for that. I did layer some effects on the shot in the post processing which brought out more contrast between the light and shadowed areas.
