Looks like the fibers are moving in a circular motion. Reminds me of a lamp made of fiber optic glass strands that constantly changed colors when the lamp was on.
Drum roll please..... For those who guessed anything to do with light and highways- you came the closest. And I would love to post a shot of what this actually was, but I don't have one. So here's the story of how I took this shot:
Jeff and I were heading home from Cape May. Our route brings us through Philadelphia on I-676/76. It was about 9:30 pm as we came off the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. I was driving and to my left there was an office building all lit up in blue lights. A lower building had yellow street lamps placed around it. I quickly grabbed my camera, turned it on and thankfully the exit from the bridge was quite slow. I kept one hand on the wheel, braced the camera on my left shoulder and took two shots as we passed the building. I was pretty certain the camera was set too slow, so I didn't think I'd get anything at all- but both shots came out really interesting and this was the better of the two. So, it is light trials- and it is from a highway, but it's a building, not cars.
@vposey Thanks Vickie! I didn't have an "answer" shot to post later, so I didn't want to keep people guessing. I never would have guessed when I shot it that it would end up looking like this!
