I liked the twist the creator of Tag Challenge 54 made in giving us an alternative challenge with the tags Green and Reflection which I was truly considering doing. But I landed on water and orange and the picture presented itself when I went to wash up the breakfast dishes today. So there you have it; my entry for the tag challenge and its lackluster history!
Sometimes, I don't like these challenges - they take away the individuals choice on photos! I love to see your creative photos! Not that this one isn't - you are set to a subject!
@maggiemae thanks Maggie- I know where you're coming from. I dabbled with some processing on this one which certainly perked it up, but then you couldn't tell the water was water. So I left it sooc. I was in a mood to get it done because the time slot is almost up. You're right, it's ok- but it could have been much better. @kandernob thank you Karen! @vposey thank you Vickie! @zshadowwalker thanks Adrian- well, it's just water from the tap, but it's a little bubbly from the dish soap. @kerristephens thank you Kerri! @digitalrn thank you Rick!

Thank you Sally and Dione! I had a little residue of soap from washing the dishes producing those bubbles. I thought they helped the water to show up.
@henrir Thanks Henri! I haven't done much with water because my camera gets confused and won't focus on it. Hopefully I will be able to get a better camera some day and I can play with it more. I'd really like to get a water crown shot.
@olivetreeann I hear you on that better camera thing. But I did read that you should just learn to use the camera you have. So, that is what I have been trying to do. :-)
@henrir There are times when I love this camera. When I get its "sweet spot" on a macro shot, I'm amazed at what it can do. It can also take some lovely landscapes and portraits under natural lighting conditions. And I love that at a turn of the dial I can go from color to sepia to black and white and back. So I have focused on taking shots that it can do and I've been pleased with the results.
@prttblues Thanks Bev! I suppose it could have been better in some ways. But once again, I sort of committed myself to do a shot and ran out of time to do something special with it. My camera didn't really focus on the bubbles as well as I'd hoped, but at least I got the shot done and it's ok.
