Great shot! Im not too sure what the ONS stands for ..im sure its a challenge but everyone is posting food tonight and i am now starving!! Great shot Ann!
@salza Thanks Sally! @orangecrush Thanks Jerry! @chrismarfil Thanks Chris! @sangwann Thank you Dione! @jackie8 Thank you Jackie! @ellimae Thank you Ellen- it stands for One Night Stand- it's a one week challenge in which set photographs are assigned to each day. Monday was panning (mine was awful!!); today's was food. Wednesday we are required to do "perspective". Thursday fashion (which is funny for me because I am basically a jean and t-shirt kind of gal) and Friday is abstract. Saturday an "urban photo" (and you know there's not a lot of that in PA! Sunday sooc. I usually shy away from these types of challenges because of the limitations of my camera. But I must confess I feel like the preset all-month/thumbnail challenges are making me feel a little boxed in so it was a nice alternative to do some quick that was over in a week! So that's what that is in a nutshell- and why I ended up joining it too. @digitalrn thanks Rick! @allie912 thank you Allison- I was so busy yesterday getting ready for my evening get together, but I noticed the afternoon light coming in the windows of the front door and the way it was hitting the pile of wood that is STILL waiting to become a floor in my house and knew it would be the perfect lighting for something like this. @nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole! I did see your rainbow challenge and I think you did a great job putting it together. I may try it at a different time. Right now, after doing 3 of these monthly/thumbnail challenges in a row, I feel like I need something more random. And even though I could start a third album to do it, I realize I could never keep up with all the comments- I struggle with 2 albums on that especially when I miss a day. I may do a week in honor of your hard work though!
@olivetreeann - thanks Ann, I totally understand. I have been so busy with work over the last month that I am also having a difficult time keeping up with the comments and finding the time to comment on other photos. We are away this weekend for four days and that will put me further behind. :)
@nicolecampbell Enjoy the time away- and don't worry about catching up on the past due pictures. Start fresh when you get back. If you see something in the thumbnails that catches your eye when you start fresh, then give it a quick look, but don't stress yourself out on trying to catch up on every single one. I have come to realize- at least for me- it's not healthy to be obsessed with catching up on every photo I missed. I end up spending hours on 365 and nothing else gets done, my husband feels neglected and then I'm even more frustrated with myself for failing. And people here really do understand- it's pretty nice! So don't stress out on all that- it'll put a damper on the time away!
@prttblues Thanks Bev- it stands for one night stand. There is a particular type of shot you take that day and that day only. Monday's was panning (my disaster!), Tuesday's was food. Wednesday is perspective, and so on. It only lasts for the week. And then it's done. I'm not really sure when I saw it posted but it was interesting because it didn't give you a subject- more of a style. @kerristephens thanks Kerri! @cimes1 thanks Carole! @eniaral thanks Laraine!
