I discovered this photogenic group while in search of shots for the Either Or October challenge today. The mushrooms look like they're made of dark chocolate to me.
Beautiful lines, color tones, and pov! A teeny forest there ....love this. We you flat out on the ground to get such a great capture?!! Chocolate's always good no matter what form it comes in. :)
This is exactly what I wanted to see as a child. I had heard that if you prayed hard enough you could make anything come true so I always prayed I'd wake up as tiny as thumbelina
Thank you to everyone!! Back from my aunt's funeral and boy am I tired! Hence the mass thank you. Please know that each and every comment is valuable to me! You are the best!
I found some mushrooms growing in the mulch in my front garden yesterday. They are very interesting and not quite like I have seen before. I need to try and photograph them again as the shots I took yesterday didn't work. I can just imagine you on your tummy trying to get the perfect photo!
@nicolecampbell Thank you Nicole! lol If I was to get down on my tummy, I'd NEVER be able to get back up! My knees seem to been hit pretty hard with arthritis this year, so it is extremely difficult for me to get up and down now. So I literally put the camera on the ground and just shoot! I take dozens of shots moving the camera around. When I have it set on macro, the camera has a little red light that blinks when it's in the process of focusing. I use that to aim the camera. It seems to be working.
@bkbinthecity Thanks Brian!
@karenann Thanks Karenann! No, I can't get down and up, so I put the camera down and shoot.
Thanks to all for your nice comments. I'm on here quick tonight and preparing for a funeral tomorrow so I'll be catching up on your photos on Sunday.

@nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole. I knew the arthritis would spread eventually. It came sooner than I expected.
