Hawk Mountain 1

There were many places along the trail which wound its way up Hawk Mountain to sit and enjoy the beauty of your surroundings.

No need to comment- I've finally figured out how to get the pictures in to the computer and then on to 365, so I'm just back-filling!

Love the processing, makes it timeless! Vintage feel for a vintage looking bench!

Beautiful capture and great vintage look you gave it. There's the name Kip Cook carved in the seat - could that be the manufacturer?

@twr Thank you Timothy! I liked how the sun was dancing about it.
@gerry Thank you Gerry!
@salza Thank you Sally! Sometimes I look at something and immediately know it should be shot in sepia. This was one of those scenes.
@sangwann Thank you Dione. There were many benches about and each one had a different name. I think they were donated (or the money to buy one was donated) in memory of the person whose names appears carved on them.
@kerristephens Thank you Kerri!
@digitalrn Thank you Rick!
