This is one of Cape May's iconic homes. Situated across from the Atlantic Ocean I always wish I could just go up to the top floor and gaze out over the sea. I believe it's called The Admiral, but don't quote me on that! Another one pulled from the archives- it's going to be a busy day, so I'll do my best to catch up with you tomorrow.
@olivetreeann I don't think that I've ever seen anything like this. How extraordinary! Incredible balconies and lovely, deep front porch. I've never seen anything like that gazebo on the top that sort of forms a cuppola for the flag. I'll bet that anyone sitting up there would have a neat view of the cityscape. :) What a wonderful take! :)
Thank you Diane, Yao, Taffy, Bev, Timothy, Dione, and Rick. I have never stayed in one of the B&B's at Cape May but sure would love to someday. However, it will certainly be off off off season as they are rather expensive!!
@nicolecampbell Thank you Nicole! In my search for its name I did find some shots on line of the interior. It's more modern than the typical Cape May Victorian on the inside. But yes, its truly the star of this block.
