Today's word on the March word list was quirky in honor of Quirky Country Music Song Title Day (I really want to know who makes these things up!!) but for the life of me I couldn't think of any quirky songs other than Ray Steven's "Guitarzan" from WAY back in the 1970's (do I feel ANCIENT or what?)! Sadly, although we do not have a shortage of guitars in this house, my guitarist was not available to pose today. The only other quirky song I could pull out of the brain cells was "John Deere Green" and since my grandson Isaac will be coming to visit soon and tractors are his favorite vehicle of all time, I just happened to have one handy to photograph. It may not be technically up to quirky standards, but it's cute!
@salza Thank you Sally! I like them too! @bulldog Thanks Graham! I think the Little People would really like this one- if you push those yellow buttons, it makes sounds! @sangwann Thank you Dione! @nicolecampbell Thank you Nicole! Not to mention how much fun their grandparents are going to have with them! @digitalrn Thanks Rick! Well, not as much as it used to I guess!
@cimes1 Thank you Carole! I am not a huge country fan either, but there were a few years when my husband was a professional DJ that we did country line dancing- which was so much fun!- so that's how I know a few songs.
What a creative set of shots, Ann! I think it meets the criteria of being quirky!! That's so cool you have your grandkids' favorite toys. I bet they love spending time with you!
@prttblues Thanks Bev! This will be the first time Isaac and Micah have been here and we're looking forward to having fun with them while their parents go to a wedding.
