It was a glorious day here in the Poconos with sunshine and fair weather. We were blessed to see the light pouring through our beautiful stained glass windows as we sang the traditional songs. The lovely lilies at each window caught my eye as we were leaving the sanctuary and out came the camera! I liked the contrast of the Easter lily and crown of thorns in this shot- one a reminder of Christ's suffering and the other a symbol of His victory over death. Beautiful shot. I was surprised on Easter Sunday by the beautiful new stain glass window addition to my church building. It is a contemporary stain glass though, as compared to the beautiful stained glass windows in your photo.
@daisymiller Thank you Daisy! Yes, we have a couple windows that are very old and others which are more recent. I love looking at the light coming through them on Sunday morning.
