The Enchanted Gate by olivetreeann

The Enchanted Gate

Oley is a very old town and the folks who live in it have preserved much of its character. One of the old houses had an amazing wrought-iron fence and gate. So we stopped so I could take a few pictures of it. What you can't see here is that the fence pattern is made up of flowers in bloom, but this gate really caught my attention with its intertwined branches.
That is an amazing piece of artwork, well captured

Thanks to all! For those who asked: yes, I did take a shot of the whole thing but with lots of irises growing behind it, it did not show up as well as the gate. In the end I felt this was the best shot.

Yes, the original shot was in color, but I converted it to black and white so that you could see it better.

@bellasmom Thanks Dina! And thanks for the fav! It was wrought iron that had been painted white and it was really fascinating to look at!
