We were collecting the pieces of our display racks for the Garlic Festival and on the property behind us was this lovely scene. So while I waited for the fellows who were carrying the heavy stuff, I just had to get a few shots. Mosier's Farm used to be the major dairy farm in Stroudsburg. It is no longer operating. But it looks great against a summer's blue sky.
@mittens Thank you Marilyn! I imagine when it was operating as a dairy farm it was even prettier. It is now surrounded by businesses and a senior living complex. Thankfully you can't see them in this shot!
I like how our cameras allow us to capture just what we want without the clutter of unwanted surroundings (referring to your comment to mittens above) You've captured the personality of the old milk farm and it's barn nicely:)
@janewinfrey Thanks Jane! Yes, it can be used to make a shot better (perspective that is), or it can be used to perpetuate a lie. It's an interesting aspect of photography! @vesna0210 Thank you Vesna!
Thank you Allison, Margo, Joan, Janice, Nina, Pyrrhula, Graham, Katy and Jim!
