52 Week Challenge- ND Filter

I was glad that this week's 52 Week Challenge assignment was the ND filter. I went out to Resica Falls for some practice but forgot my notes, so it was all guesswork to get this. One of these days I'm going to get a shot that I'm proud of start to finish! This one was really dark and took some considerable lightening but I liked the silky effect I accomplished here. I'll keep looking for opportunities to work with this filter because I really do like what it does to water. Stayed tuned...

I'm back!! And uploading to catch up so don't feel obligated to comment on every shot- just the ones you like the most!
Dark and moody but beautiful too. This is so beautiful.

This one looks like a beautiful painting. Perhaps you should forget about the notes and just do what you do best.....edit. I am not a fan of silky water but I really like what you have achieved here. FAV

Love the contrast of light and dark - would love to find a good setting to try out an ND filter. You've done beautifully with it. Fav

The ND filters eem to be quite magic Ann - this is lovely. I like the way the flowing water has different colours.

Thank you for the views and commetns!

@eudora @robz We had a little rain the night before and the colors may be some mud and residue from upstream washing along in the water. It does add a nice variation.

@grammyn You are too kind!

Thank you Helen! (The notes just help with the settings, not the artistic aspect. I guess I should memorize them!)
