Skunk Cabbage in Bloom 2

I learned that Skunk Cabbage does bloom but it does not flower as most plants do. Instead the light green shoots you see here are the "blossoms". The leaves of this one are a purplish hue. I think they will eventually turn green as the plant matures.

@onewing @helenhall A strange name, yes, but if you disturb the plant, it lives up to its name. In other words Babs, yes, it smells like a skunk!
