Two Red Mushrooms

Our photo club had two photo walks this week and I'll be filling in all my blank spaces with shots from them!

This one is from our short hike around Hermes Paradise Creek Preserve. You'll be seeing lots of mushroom shots from this one. Our wet July has brought out a bumper crop of them!

I don't think they're edible and I don't remember what the naturalist who was with us had to say about them. Apparently they are edible to someone though as you can see these had a few nibbles on them exposing the gills underneath.
