I couldn't make up my mind on what to do today so just fluffed around the house accomplishing nothing! Well, I did bake an apple pie but that's as productive as I got. I was so intent on choosing a theme for the next black and white challenge I forgot I needed a shot for the second album. I couldn't decide on what to take, feeling really uninspired and wasted the opportunity of going out on a perfectly lovely day to catch a few pictures. Oh well, back into the archives I go again!
@olivetreeann Thank you for the color. The wildflowers of this grew along the roadsides of my childhood and came in a variety of colors such as pink, purple, blue and white. I have some pressed and dried ones that I treasure. Fun to see again!
@wyomingsis These were in a cultivated garden so they are most likely not wildflowers (but could be). I will post the unedited version in my third album so you can see what they really look like.
@shannejw I don't think these are cornflowers. They were in a cultivated garden- but it's not impossible for them to be wildflowers. However Cape May NJ is known for its Bed and Breakfasts housed in amazingly beautiful Victorian homes- decorated to the hilt with antiques and such with gardens crammed full of beautiful flowers- so I'm thinking that they are something from a greenhouse or nursery.
@randystreat Thank you Kathy! @shannejw Thanks for the info Shanne! I'll have to see if they're on the list of what the deer eat. They totally flattened my lilies last year and so far the only thing they haven't eaten are the Daffodils and Lily of the Valley. So if I'm investing in any more plants it will be those they do not eat. I'm tired of fighting them!

Thank you so much everyone!
Thank you my friends! Glad you liked the last minute "faffing" of this shot.
@wyomingsis These little lovelies were pink. The shot was taken a while back in Cape May NJ so I don't really remember what the name of them was.

@pistache Thank you Clare!
