The Doublemint Twins

There was a chewing gum which was very popular here in the U.S. when I was growing up called "Doublemint". I'm not sure if it's still sold since I don't chew gum any more (I don't want it pulling out my old fillings!). The commercials always ended up using the phrase, "Double the mint; double the fun" and they always featured twins. That's what popped into my mind when I saw these two in the backyard.

Thanks to one and all! Yes, they're cute now- but once those spots disappear they'll grow into the critters that have destroyed my garden and I won't think they're so cute anymore!
