Band: The Brothers Poem is a work by the archaic Greek poet Sappho that had been lost to antiquity until it was rediscovered in 2014. It is the only poem which mentions her brothers Charaxos and Larichos whose actual existence is confirmed by other sources. The poem addresses an unknown person saying repeatedly that Charaxos will return from a journey and Larichos will assume the family business when he becomes a man.
