Because I have been travelling backwards and forward between home and the hospital for the last couple of days our local lorikeets weren't being fed with seed as they usually are.
This morning this lorikeet was really letting me know how he felt as he sat on our patio screeching what I took to mean 'feed me'
Naturally I did as I was told, and he and his friends are much happier now.
Looks beautiful. I feed the animals only during severe frosts, although when the drought deepens, they will have to be fed now. For now, a drinking fountain is mandatory.
@casablanca Definitely not compassionate at all. They have got me well and truly organized and weren't happy when I was out of action for a couple of days.
@clifford Yes we see them every day, so they weren't pleased when I was out for a couple of days. This one was particularly vocal. I think there must have been a few rude words in his vocabulary
