It's finally raining. Apart from a few spits a couple of days ago, we haven't seen a good rainfall since the beginning of December! Hope it's raining where the bush fires are.
@shirleytemple@gypsy6 Photoshop. Will tell you tomorrow, a bit late now. It's very easy.
I just wanted the colour in the umbrella and the grey of the background to try and emphasize the rainbow effect seeing as it was finally raining. . Don't know if it worked, but it seemed okay to me. Thanks for the fav Deb.
@heidit@peadar@davidgnc@amyamoeba@fueast I had this idea as a subject for our photography club photo a while ago, then thought I would use it when I started 365 in January, but had to wait until now for the rain to arrive.
@shirleytemple@gypsy6 In photoshop use quick selection tool and highligt the area you want to remain coloured, ie umbrella. Click on Select /Inverse and then on Image/adjustments/black and white then click OK. Then click on Select/deselect and there you have it. Easy.
@shirleytemple We have Photoshop CS, but think you can get Photoshop Elements 10 for just over $100 now and it does job. Perhaps you can feel a birthday coming along! I have lots of birthdays. Had about 4 this year already!
