What a lovely scene ,although I can see it is a busy road towards the port , the glimpse of the sea beyond and the church wit its steeple takes your eye away from the immediate buildings !
I have just scanned back through your Dunedin pictures, thanks for sharing them. We lived there for 5 years in the 70's. A reminder of happy days. this shot is looking back to where we lived along the harbour.
Stunning view towering over Port Chalmers, wonderful depth of field and colour, what a terrific vantage position to take the shot Babs, well worth spending the inheritance on, lol:)
@john39 Glad my pictures brought back memories John. I loved this area of New Zealand and Dunedin was fabulous. I will definitely visit again. Because we were on a cruise we didn't get as much time there as I would have liked.
@ladymagpie@paulaw@shirleybankfarm@snowy Thanks, I did get a fabulous view from the ship. You can see how high it was. Here is a photo of our ship taken from one of the tender boats as we were returning. You can see two tender boats to the left of the ship just in front of us and each tender boat carries 100 people. http://365project.org/onewing/365/2015-12-19
Our cabin was on level 11.
