Seaplane by onewing

Seaplane

We have been out today at Rathmines and although it has been a hazy day, it has been quite hot. I think I got a bit too much sun and came home with a headache - overdosed on Vitamin D because I forgot to wear sun block.

This photo is of a seaplane landing on Lake Macquarie.
Easy to gorge the sunscreen, while it's still mostly wintry weather. Good shot, though

Great capture with lovely detail and depth of field Babs, I suspect it was taxing at the time judging from the elevator position and pilot inside:)

We have lots of seaplanes here, but I won't get on them. I delivered my husband to a seaplane not long ago and it sputtered and died (before it took off). I held my breath as it got into the air and texted him to let me know when he arrived in Vancouver.

@888rachel It was just my face that got burnt, so not too bad. Had a splitting headache though but I think that was because we had thunder and I always get a headache before it thunders. David says it is because I am sensitive, ha ha.

Sorry for the group reply again, but I have been out this morning and we are out this evening too. all go here, as usual.
My headache has gone now and I didn't get too burnt, just my face. We weren't expecting the temperature to reach 30 degrees c. Although it was cloudy. I always seem to get a headache before a thunder storm and we had a storm last night. David says its because I am sensitive and a princess ha ha.
