Half and Half - Newcastle Old and New

This is the first time I have stopped all day today, so really enjoying a sit down for a few minutes.
Just mopped the floors, so I have mopped myself into a corner in the study while the floors dry.

I took this photo when I was out with the walking group in Newcastle.

Nice contrast between the old and new architecture. There are so many wonderful buildings to photograph in Newcastle. Enjoy your rest. I will need to think about the floors again tomorrow, although I was doing them at 10.30 on Monday night!

I love the brick work on the windows of the old building. So much thought has gone into making them look so good compared to modern building. a great half and half of different architecture.
