Happy Christmas everyone. For some of you the day has just begun, but for us in the southern hemisphere it is coming to an end.
The northern hemisphere sometimes has snow and rain but here it is summer and we have sand and sea.
We spent the morning chopping up two huge branches. Santa must have clipped one of our huge blackbutt trees on his way down this morning. The branches split and part blocked the road. To be honest I don't think it was really Santa, they just came down in the storm yesterday evening. We will have plenty of wood for next winter though.
For a moment I mistook the sand for snow. Sorry about the tree, must have been a disappointment to wake up to and to have to spend most of the day clearing up the road and cutting the wood.
Fun and sunny Christmas shot! Our Christmas has been quiet and pleasant- no snow here at the shore, but my sister in Vermont had a white one. Wishing you and yours a wonderful Christmas and a great New Year.
Seasons Greetings to you and David
