As I was driving home along the waterfront this afternoon I stopped to take a photo at the nature reserve and barbeque area. I guess there won't be any barbeques today though.
Over the last three days we have had 100 mm rain according to our rain gauge chart. Compare that to the month of May where the total rainfall was 75 mm for the whole month.
What a start to winter! I am beginning to get webbed feet.
Oh gosh you have had a deluge! Send some down to the Blue Mountains please - our dams have dried up and we have had to start buying tank water - something we have never had to do in the 18 years we have lived on our farm.
Wow, that's a lot of rain. We had lots of storms here last week, with flash flooding in different places. This is definitely not the time for a barbeque in this place.
@purdey @gilbertwood @henrir I really wish I could share the rain with you.
@golftragic You are welcome to our rain Marnie, It has rained non stop since the 1st June.
