Yesterday we went to a Tuesday Speaker presentation at our local U3A. The presentation and demonstration was given by Stephen Cassettari . Stephen is a full time artist, writer and teacher of Chinese brush painting.
In this picture you can see a photo of Stephen and the artworks he created during the presentation. I am amazed just how quickly he created each artwork. He made a difficult subject look so easy.
Here is a link to his website if anyone is interested.
A super collage of beautiful artwork so difficult to chose a favourite painting , but I do love the simplicity of monochrome typical Chinese artwork of the tranquil scene on the centre left
Wow what a talented gent, I would be happy with anyone of them hanging on my wall, thanks for sharing the links very interesting, btw lovely collage each image beautifully captured and presented Babs:)
@casablanca He gave an excellent presentation. He is originally from Essex and came to Australia when he was a child. He has always wanted to be a painter from the age of 7 but his dad said he had to get a proper job, so he became a house painter and then decided he could earn a better living as an artist of Chinese painting.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond I don't think I could master this art, he said it has taken him over 20 years to make it look so easy.
@helenhall Yes he created all the 8 pictures in just over an hour and gave a talk about each one at the same time. I have his card with email address on and I have sent him a copy of this collage.
All fabulous, my pick is the bottom left-hand one with the bamboo and bird. What a talented artist this bloke is. Would have been wonderful to watch him work.
@annied I guessed you would like the kooka best.
@kjarn That was the first one he did and I liked that one too and then he did the centre left picture and I liked that better.
@beryl The centre left is my favourite too.
@pcoulson Glad you liked the link too,
