Storm Brewing

Today is the first whole day I have had at home since returning from our trip on Monday.

After the Steampunk Festival last Saturday we drove to Queanbeyan and drove straight into this fabulous storm. Luckily we missed the majority of it but it still looked rather ominous.

I took this photo from the car as we drove along the Federal Highway towards Canberra.

@maggiemae I was just lucky I guess because I took this through the passenger window as we were travelling at 100 kph with wind and rain lashing. The window as open and I looked like the Wreck of the Hesperus by the time I wound the window back up again, ha ha.
