I am feeling a lot better today so went for a walk along the same beach this photo was taken. Haven't looked at those photos yet so thought I would post this photo taken a few days ago at blue hour.
Unfortunately, blue hour at this beach in the bushland is also mozzie time and the mozzies were out in force. Luckily I didn't get bitten.
Thanks so much for putting yesterday's 'My Favourite Tree' on the TP and the PP, I am sure it will feature again in 365.
Super blue hour shot. I invested in a Tick Spray in Switzerland, where they are endemic, and found it jolly useful for mozzies in Austria by the lake too! Pesky beasties, they do know how to ruin dusk beauty times, eh? Glad you didn't get bitten!
Wow that certainly is the blue hour.... lovely silhouettes! Sorry I must have missed you have been under the weather Babs...take care & look after yourself...you do so much!
@olivetreeann@sangwann Thanks. You can't actually see the sunset from this part of the beach because it sets behind the bushland, so here we are left with the lovely blue glow.
@casablanca We do have mozzie sprays, but to be honest I didn't think of it. Should have known that in among the mangroves and bushland there would be lots of mozzies at dusk. To be honest I don't usually get bitten very often. The mozzies prefer David's blood type more than mine.
@ludwigsdiana@louannwarren@taffy Thanks, the mozzies don't usually bother me too much but I could see them flying around in droves. It particularly bad when walking in the bushland at dusk especially in the mangroves. I just hate it when the zzzzz in your ear.

@ethelperry @pcoulson @angelar @photographycrazy @happypat @mittens Thanks, it takes a lot for me to slow down but I have had a relatively quiet few days. I can't stop altogether though. Walking on the beach is always soothing.
