We have had rather a traumatic day today. David's desktop computer died and he thinks the power supply has burnt out so he ordered a new one and we will have to wait and see if that is indeed the problem. If not I guess we will have to wait until we are out of lockdown before he can get it fixed. He does have a laptop though and he can also use my desktop too. So not as bad as it could have been.
Also we have been doing our tax returns today too, so I think I need a quiet night. At least that is done and dusted for another year.
Obviously no time for photos today so it is a good job I have prepared quite a few bird photos taken in our garden to tide me over until I can get out and about again.
As always the rainbow lorikeets are entertaining. Most of them play nicely together, but you do sometimes get one that is a bit bossy as you can see from this photo. He obviously doesn't want to share the bird bath with the two lorikeets on the right and wants to keep it for him and his missus.
If you look closely you can see a group of lorikeets sharing some seed on a tray we have in the paved area near a sundial.
Read your title and thought , "wow , a cockney lorikeet !" ha ,- how ones mind can carry you away !! Lovely shot , after all they may harmoniously be discussing the temperature of the water ! Sorry to hear of David's computer - hope the new part will fix the problem !
There is obviously some discussion going on here- my imagination had it going in the direction of gossip, "Did you hear about Lori? She's color blind of all things! Doesn't know her red breast from her green feathers poor dear!" Cute shot! And so many of them- I'd be glued to the window every day!
