This pelican, if you look closely has got rather a dirty beak. He was waiting the fisherman to throw him some fish and he has seaweed and soil on his beak from previous catches of fish.

This pelican was standing next to a fisherman who was gutting his fish and everytime he threw some bits of fish for the pelicans each one opened their mouth. It looked so funny. There must have been about 20 pelicans here.
@elaine55 I agree, they always make me smile. I saw one a few days ago which had just swallowed a fish and his neck looked awful. Didn't manage to get a decent shot of it though.
