Today's animal picture is another one taken from Oakvale Farm This little chap became my new best friend and it was a case of me and my shadow in more ways than one.
At Oakvale they give everyone a bag of food so they can feed the animals and I think he thought I had food, so followed me everywhere and each time I stopped to take a photo of something he nudged me on my leg, as if to say 'don't forget me'.
I did manage to give him the slip though after about an hour.
One of the jobs I used to have to do when we had pedigree cows was draw the markings on the new calves for their passports when they were ever sold. Would have hated to draw this goat! They photo them these days thank goodness!
@leestevo@jackie8@yaorenliu Thanks so much. Had a long day today and got a terrible headache tonight and a pain in the neck. Off to bed. Will catch up on photos tomorrow.
No Elaine I wasn't feeding him at all in fact. He just seemed to think I was a long lost relative and followed me round the farm ha ha.
What a job Pat drawing the markings of calves. This goat could have been a bit of a challenge. Thank God for digital cameras, must make identification much easier now.
I think David has done the clocks now, so that has saved me a job, we have so many clocks in this house.
Off to bed, night night.
