Today's evening and night photo is of the Sydney Opera House taken from a ship which we were sailing into the harbour on. You can see that another cruise ship beat us into the harbour.

@gigiflower Thanks for the fav Sam. I did the opposite, lived in Melbourne and then moved to NSW in 1996. I still love Melbourne though, but not in winter.

@chimfa You don't normally see it from this angle Jane. Costs a lot of money to get a shot like this because we were on a ship similar to the one in the picture only ours was half as big again.

We are just off to an Italian Day with our photo club to Tomago House and then this afternoon to a Chinese Festival in Newcastle. Quite a multicultural day.

@onewing No, my daughter did a year as a locum Registrar at a hospital in Brisbane, and I had a trip over while she was there and we visited Sydney and the Blue Mountains then, as well as some other places north of Brisbane. It's a country I'd love to return to, but the long plane journey puts me off!
