I hope you have enjoyed my month of street art. This will be my last topic album photo for a few months but I will still continue with just my main album.
I have been researching my family history for quite a while and at the moment I am writing a story of my family history for my sister and myself. As this will probably take up a lot of my spare time I will only really have time to do one album for the time being.
I hope to carry on with my topic album later in the year. Hope you have enjoyed my topics over the last 12 months.
As I started my topic album with a month of street art in January 2014 it seems appropriate to end with the same subject for January 2015.
Today's photo is a collage of 9 sections of the mural I posted the last 2 days
This mural was a collaborative project to commemorate local past, present and future community and businesses.
It was designed by local Mayfield resident, artist and student of Natural History Illustration at the University of Newcastle School of Design communication and IT, Bronwyn Grieve.
1) White faced heron
2) Swamp wallaby
3) Red bellied black snake and leaf green tree frog
4) Purple swamphen
5) Hexham grey mosquito and Australian swamp rat
6) Royal spoonbill
7) Eastern water dragon
8) Australian white ibis
9) Water boatman.
Thank you Babs for sharing with us these beautiful and varied street arts in your locality . I have thoroughly enjoyed the anticipation if what Isee from day to day -- some I loved , some not so !! not because of the art but of personal taste . All the best with your next project of writing your family history .But glad that you are carrying on with your main album and perhaps chasing bearded men !! hee hee heee !!!
Sounds like a wonderful project you have embarked on Babs! I will miss your additional themes and projects however I am so happy that you will be still posting every day :)
As I said earlier I will still be doing my main album for the time being and just not posting in my topics album.
I am sure that there will be the occasional street art which will pop un in my main album from time to time though as there is still a lot of art which I haven't photographed yet around Newcastle.

We have been in Newcastle today and it is so sad to see the end of the rail lines between Wickham and Newcastle. I had to get a photo of it.
Super shot to end your topic with. They've inspired a friend of mine. Anita Dixon, to start on 365! See what you've done Babs! .. That's 2 people I've now introduced to the group.
