21st June Moon

This is my alternate shot for today - topic Moon

I was going to bed and as I drew my curtains I saw the moon shining brightly. It was nearly midnight but I just had time to take the shot for my alternate one for today.

Just seen the time it says I took the shot and its wrong!! I took it at about 11.45pm - I will have to check my camera settings out!!

Great shot - the detail is awesome. I was tempted by a moon shot as well, but it somehow didn't seem right for the summer solstice!
