There were lots of dragonflies in the air today but it was difficult to capture them away from the grasses and bullrushes which made them difficult to see. Finally this one settled briefly on this leaf. I do love watching them - they really are like little helicopters. They are great hunters sweeping up and down catching insects on the wing.
