A quick upload of Finlay with his new haircut. He looks half the size!! He still has a scruffy look - he will never be a show dog thank goodness!! He had a great time playing with his dad Wallace and the 6 month old puppy Ula who loves him!!
PS -- another thought on your computer...(well, 2 thoughts). First, if you buy the air, you should sign up for a year of the one-to-one support. In the US, it's $99.00 and you can have unlimited private tutoring. It's a GREAT detail -- they've taught me about Aperture, processing tips, making movies, etc. Anything that Apple supports, they can tutor you about so highly recommend doing that. Second, if you are looking for something more powerful, but still lightweight, check out the 13" macbook pro. It's much lighter than the older versions, and is the one I'm going to get this year to replace my 13" Air. It has better memory, a more powerful processor, etc. Of course, it means getting a computer, not a travel thing, but what I've come to decide is that having the macbook pro as my main computer, and then using my iPad for basically viewing and some processing (because it first has to go on the computer anyway) on short trips is fine, but I'd still have the option to take my laptop with me even for personal travel. It would fit in my camera case along with the lenses, etc. for the trip, and then could be left behind when out and about. Have just been thinking about you and your upcoming decision about computer/iPad.
@taffy Thank you so much for that Taffy I will have a look at the Macbook pro. I just need to see if I gain anything as I have a laptop (windows) but it is very heavy. I originally thought Oh i will get an Ipad for when I am travelling and use that to do my photos on when I am away. I hadn't realised i wouldn't be able to load my raw files on and as I normally take my photos using my Canon 5D I need something to support that. My laptop is fine really as I have LR, PS and Nik Efex on it so can do my normal editing. It's ok if I am travelling by car but I couldn't carry my laptop in a bag as it would do my back in!! LOL!! I still like the idea of the ipad air but its too expensive if it's just for fun - maybe!!
