..for all the good wishes he received yesterday after his traumatic choking. As you can see he has fully recovered although it did frighten him (and me) and he kept very near to me all day. I kept a close eye on him but he is fine. I even let him sleep on my bed last night as I had been so worried about him - I wanted to keep him close. My sister says Finlay pretending to choke worked then as I let him on the bed!! As if!! LOL!!
Aha, now it is all clear! Finlay has been wanting to sleep in your bed at night for the past two years. Nothing has worked. Then, one day he happened to have access to a television soap opera. He watched very closely and learned the importance of the dramatic moment, the near loss. He waited patiently for an opportunity to present itself. Then, he saw the fat balls hanging from the hook. Again he waited patiently, as he knew you had to be close by and not looking at that black box but instead noticing him. And, well...the rest is history... I hope you both had a good night's sleep!
I'm so glad to know that Finlay is OK, choking is very scary. Lori's mom choked when we went out to dinner a couple weeks ago and fortunately the waitress was able to do the Heimlich on her and save her life.
